THE COSY HIDEAWAY IN THE HEART OF LECH.

Chalet Toda was built in 1997 by Evi and Gotthard Strolz. For a long time, it was simply numbered 586 to make it easy to find among the houses in Lech. In 2023, we gave the chalet a careful facelift and named it after Gotthard's nickname, "Toda."

Chalet Toda is a place for family time. After all, nothing is more precious than the hours spent with loved ones on vacation.

The heart of the house is the old parlor dating back to the 18th century, which was carefully salvaged from a dilapidated farmhouse and reinstalled in Lech. Chalet Toda was literally designed around the existing parlor. Austria is famous for its meticulous carpentry, then as now.

Meals are enjoyed in the parlor. Stories are told. Cards are played. And you can also relax by the cozy tiled stove.

Speaking of meals: Our kitchen is well-equipped with a cooking island, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.

Breakfast is prepared by our wonderful host. For the rest of the day, you can cater for yourself or, if you prefer, book catering with or without a chef.

Togetherness is important. So is personal space. Especially if you have teenagers, you—and they—know what we're talking about. Chalet Toda offers ample space for everyone, as well as several cozy corners for quiet moments alone. For example, in front of the open fireplace in the chalet's spacious hall, in the TV room, or on the gallery on the first floor. Everyone can find their own spot to reflect or even sulk. Don't worry, the Wi-Fi works.

Last but not least: the rooms. Each of the three rooms is different. Each charming. You can choose one on arrival, or of course, let fate decide.

Room One impresses with its size and walk-in closet, while Room Two is slightly smaller but also has a walk-in closet. These two rooms share a very large bathroom with a sauna (Finnish with a soft bath function), bathtub, and walk-in shower. Room Three is the smallest but has a separate small bathroom with a shower.

In the TV room—it should be mentioned—there is a sofa bed that can accommodate one adult (or two children up to 12 years old). There are no extra beds, nor are they provided.

In the basement, you will find space for your skis and ski boots, helmets, and gloves. You will also find a handcrafted toboggan from the Bregenzerwald region and two Zipfelbobs (mini sleds) for your use.

There are three balconies and two terraces.

Snuggled up in a blanket, you can sit comfortably there on sunny days. And in March, of course, you can linger for a while.

Chalet Toda's location is central—not to say very central:

200m to the Rüfikopf lift, which takes you to Zürs.

300m to the Lech ski area.

You are still far enough away from the snow bars to enjoy well-deserved peace and quiet.
