Domaine Camille & Guillaume Boillot
Meursault
They are a young duo with deep roots: Camille and Guillaume Boillot represent a new generation in Meursault – ambitious, with strong family ties, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
Camille comes from the Violot-Guillemard family, and Guillaume is the son of Henri Boillot – two illustrious names in Burgundy. After Guillaume spent ten years managing the wines of Domaine Henri Boillot, the two decided to establish their own estate starting in 2022. Their vineyards are primarily located in Meursault, Puligny, and Volnay – some in prime locations, which they lease or have inherited from their families.
In the cellar, they employ a restrained approach: spontaneous fermentation, minimal use of oak, and extended aging on the lees. Their signature style is unmistakable: elegant, mineral, and vibrant. Their wines are still considered hidden gems, but not for long. Critics like William Kelley (The Wine Advocate) praise the "breathtaking precision" and "effortless finesse" of the first vintages. Overall: incredibly high ratings!
Domaine Camille & Guillaume Boillot is a promise for the future—and proof that even in overheated Burgundy, there's still room for greatness.
