Domaine Bachelet-Monot
Maranges
Dynamic, focused, uncompromising – brothers Marc and Alexandre Bachelet are among the most exciting young voices in the Côte de Beaune. Their wines demonstrate just how much expression and excitement is possible even beyond the Grand Crus.
Founded in 2005, the Domaine now cultivates around 23 hectares, spread across Maranges, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet, and even Bâtard-Montrachet. For several years, they have practiced organic farming, carefully managing the soils with cover crops and plowed. Their signature style: crisp freshness, reductive winemaking, and a subtle salinity.
Critics like Antonio Galloni and William Kelley consider them among the "stars of the new generation," and sommeliers worldwide celebrate their purist white wines.
“The greatest respect for wine is not to disturb it.” – Marc Bachelet (Bourgogne Aujourd’hui, 2019)
Bachelet-Monnot is a stroke of luck for Burgundy lovers – especially in a market where authenticity is becoming increasingly rare.
