Thierry Mortet, Denis's younger brother, left their shared estate in 1992 to forge his own path – quieter, but no less determined. Today, his name stands for authentic, organic Pinot Noir with Burgundian seriousness.
He cultivates approximately 4.5 hectares – all certified organic – in Gevrey, Chambolle, and Marsannay. His style: delicate, focused, with clear fruit and a mineral backbone. In the cellar: spontaneous fermentation, gentle extraction, minimal oak, and plenty of time.
His wines are featured in top restaurants in Paris and Tokyo, and sommeliers also appreciate their clarity. Thierry avoids media attention – he prefers to work quietly in the cellar.
